Can you believe it? We’ve reached the official start of the summer season. It didn’t seem possible for a bit, with snow on most Mondays in APRIL but we moved on to high temperatures and the need for cool clothes!

It’s also that time to start thinking about a mid-summer closet de-clutter! Summer consignment season ends on June 30th and fall consignment season begins on July 2nd.  No one knows more than our mom’s out there that when it comes to mid-summer, it is actually time to start prepping for the back-to-school rush. While the kids are out at the pool, at camp, of just running around with friends, it is the best time to get in those disaster zones they call closets and sort out last year’s fall items. If you’ve used some of our closet organizing posts, this may be easier for you!

Starting on Monday July 2nd, Once ‘n Again is looking for your denim for our back-to-school selling season coming up. It starts earlier and earlier every year …we need to be ready for back-to-school shoppers in mid July.  For our regular consignors, you know just what we’re looking for. But for those who might want to try drop & run consignment for the first time, bring your gently-used, name brand items (originally priced $12 or higher) for us to sort through and sell for you. Fall means jeans, cardigans, long-sleeves, layering pieces,  thin sweaters, and jackets! Check out our website for more information about consignment and our seasonal guidelines.

They say the early bird gets the worm- find your denim and fall items to bring in for consignment to get your items out and on the sales floor, earning you the best price when back-to-school shopping starts! Remember, July 2nd we’re looking for your gently used denim, all sizes and genders welcome!

Bring your jeans to Once ‘n Again in Fairbury or Pontiac for consignment (which is cash later) or cash now for consignors. And remember, we’ve always got great tag color sales going on, so you may just find something you love as a reward for all your closet de-cluttering hard work!
