Earth Day (April 22) was first celebrated in 1970, to demonstrate support for environmental protection. Earth Day is a big deal to us because Once ‘n Again is all about recycling every single day. We focus on fashion a lot, because just like you, we love fashion trends and styles! And we love celebrating our earth, and that’s why we also talk about the ways you can recycle your gently used fashion through our consignment services.
Earth Day Double At Once 'n Again
If you shop & consign with us---this deal is for you! During our Earth Day 2025 event, Monday April 21st & Tuesday April 22nd, we have a way for you to get even more from your recycling efforts; Double your consignment account balance--limit one double per account (no cash value)! Stop by and see us on Earth Day (or the day before) and we will double your consignment account balance onto a gift card to be used in the store! The limit is 100 total on a maximum of 2 gift cards, we will add a maximum of 50 to a maximum of 50 from your consignment account. If you aren’t a frequent shopper- our gift cards make great presents for your thrifty fashionista friends. Gift cards can be used in-store (the brick & mortar store) and cannot be used for online purchases.
By consigning and shopping with us, you’re really doubling your recycling efforts: By consigning, you’re keeping your clothes out of the landfills. And by shopping with us, you’re purchasing gently used items from a (local) consignor, saving money, and also stopping those clothes from getting tossed out. It’s a win-win for the earth, and that’s why we’re making it a win-win for you!
Recycling
Have you wondered what we do to keep your clothes from being tossed in a landfill? If they do not sell at Once ‘n Again we send them to a couple of local thrift shops & charitable organizations, Harvest Call in Fairbury, or a few recycling companies.
Consign now to build your account balance so that you can maximize your double! We are currently accepting spring consignments (summer March 1st), no appointment necessary (other limits apply). Visit our consignor info page & what we sell page for all of the current consignment details.
Remember, to take advantage of this offer you must have a balance in your consignment account and come to the store during the Earth Day event, Monday April 21 & Tues April 22. If you cannot come to the store during the event, we will honor email requests, but no phone calls please. We will not allow anyone that is not an authorized user of your consignment account take advantage of the double.
